Cancellation of Rep/Select Programs for 2020
Submitted By Admin on Tuesday, July 28, 2020
Dear OMBA Families,

Unfortunately it has come time to surrender!  Orangeville Minor Baseball Association will have to shut down this season completely as of today for our Rep & Select Programs.

We have tried and tried to keep the season going but unfortunately there is just too much red tape for us to be able to offer our Rep and Select teams a place to play and practice under the Orangeville Minor Baseball Association.

Rep Coaches will be in touch with their teams in regards to next steps.

Trust me when I tell you that as President of this amazing group of volunteers, we have done everything we can to get players back on the diamonds, but when you can’t get to a safe place with the assurance of an agreement between our municipalities, you have to do what’s right.  You have to finally say, that’s it!

I’m crushed and defeated for now - but I promise we will do everything we can to make sure OMBA is back and better than ever.

Stay tuned,

Sincerely
Yours in Baseball,

Phil Lankhof
President - OHMBA
