Off-season options @ AtoZ Batting Cages
Submitted By Jesse Edmunds on Thursday, November 26, 2020
To all OHMBA Members,

We hope you are keeping safe and healthy at this time. While we may have lost the 2020 season due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it did allowed us as an organization to learn and understand what was necessary to safely operate the league, in advance of preparing for the 2021 season. As part of that preparation, we have also been working to find options for our members to continue their development through the off-season, and we are excited to share some news...

As some of you may know, we are fortunate enough in Orangeville to have a local small business offering batting cages, and we are happy to announce that we have been able to work with AtoZ Batting Cages to offer discounts on programs available exclusively to OHMBA members

For all OHMBA players (House League and Representative):
Minutes Packages are available for purchase and use through the winter, at the following pricing (plus HST):
- 420 Minutes for $200
- 310 Minutes for $175
- 180 Minutes for $120
*Exclusively for OHMBA players, receive a 10% discount on all minutes packages.

For our Representative Teams:
Rent the entire facility for your team (all 3 tunnels) for a significantly discounted price versus the cost of a single tunnel rental. Commit to 5-9 (1hr)sessions for your team, and your hourly cost is $110 (plus HST). Commit to 10+ (1hr)sessions, and your hourly cost is further discounted to $100 (plus HST). A deposit is required to begin booking sessions.

In order to do their part in the fight against Covid-19, AtoZ Batting Cages is currently operating on an appointment only basis. If you're interested in doing some off-season work, or just getting some hacks in over the winter, be sure to contact Mike or Courtney @ 519-307-2233. Bookings can be made 10am-10pm, 7 days a week, and same day/short notice appointments can generally be accommodated. AtoZ is operating under Covid-19 protocols that conform with 'Return to Play Guidelines'. Rep Teams/players will be required to utilize the Attendance Tracker via the Baseball Ontario ONDECK app. AtoZ is located at 62 Broadway - Unit D (around the back, behind the Great Canadian Solid Wood Furniture Company)

If you have any questions or general inquiries about the programs available, please contact our Field Manager - Jesse Edmunds - via email at [email protected]

Yours in baseball,
OHMBA Executive

P.S. Stay tuned for news about our upcoming Annual General Meeting, which will include the election and appointments of some key positions for the 2021 season. We are looking for some volunteers to join us, as we continue to grow OHMBA into a premier baseball organization for Orangeville and the surrounding Headwaters community.
