Refund Without Penalty Ends Fri June 25th @ Midnight
Submitted By Jesse Edmunds on Wed 06 23, 21
Hello Bengals Family,

While we continue to try and get prepared for Step 1 baseball activities to begin this Monday June 28th, a wave of last minute refund requests is causing significant delays and putting our start date in jeopardy again. These withdrawals force us to have to re-organize rosters, and in some cases we have to look for new volunteer coaches. While we respect the decisions of our members to withdraw from the season during these times, we must update our refund without charge policy...

If you are thinking about withdrawing from the 2021 season, and would like to do so without penalty, we ask that you complete your refund request before Friday June 25th at midnight. Those wishing to withdraw from the 2021 season after June 25th will be subject to a 25% penalty during Step 1 baseball activities. Refunds will not be provided during Step 2 of the Reopening of Ontario.

There is a significant amount of time that goes into preparing for baseball season, with many of our Executive currently putting in close to fulltime hours to see baseball return to Orangeville in 2021. As a volunteer based association we must make these immediate changes to our policy to be mindful of the time of our Executive and Staff, and to ensure those that are wishing to play baseball in 2021 are able to do so at the earliest possibility.

*Refunds without penalty ends June 25, 2021 @ Midnight

*Refunds after June 25th, during Step 1 baseball activities, will be subject to a 25% penalty

*No refunds will be provided once we enter into Step 2 of the Reopening of Ontario

Once again, we respect the decision of our members to withdraw during these times. If you choose to pull out from the 2021 season, we hope that you will return to the OHMBA in the future. To those that have signed up for our waitlist, please stay tuned as we look to fill spots created by those that have requested a refund.

Sincerely,

Your OHMBA Executive
