2023 End of Season House League Message from your Former Vice President
Thank you Ryan for all you have done!!

Hello Orangeville Minor Baseball my Bengal Family

Over the past 4 seasons I have served as the VP of House League for Orangeville Minor Baseball, and T-Ball Convenor before that. It’s been an incredibly rewarding experience! I have witnessed a ton of growth in our area for baseball, and been a part of some exciting projects.

With my position of House League VP up for election, I have decided to forgo running for a 3rd two year term. It wasn’t a decision I made easily, but my work load has reached a point where I no longer have the time required to do the job appropriately.

I still plan to be a head coach, as I love sharing my love of the game with kids, and seeing them mature as people, and bond as a team, but I will be stepping away from the Executive side of things.

Naturally, I will be available for guidance for the new executive next season, but I just cannot commit to it full time.

I would like to thank everyone over the years who helped with the league, whether on the Exec, as a coach, or in any other way. I would also like to throw out a special thanks to Jesse Edmunds, who was a rockstar for the league the last bunch of years, and was as good a President as anyone could be. The league showed incredible growth under his tenure, and he breathed new life into Orangeville Baseball.

Currently, Josh Cabral has stepped up to be Interim VP of House League, and he has already done awesome things! I formally support him as an excellent candidate for the role in the upcoming election, and I believe he will lead our House League into even more growth and success!

The OHMBA is run by volunteers, with some donating 20-30 hours a week on a normal basis, to keep things going. If you would like to have a say in how the league operates, or want to support someone in the election, then please make sure to attend the AGM on  Monday October 23rd,  6-9pm IN PERSON at The Alder Arena, in the TD Canada Trust Room #209.

Once again, it has been an incredible journey helping run our house league program, and I look forward to seeing many of you on the fields! Sincerely, Ryan Hancock Former VP of House League Orangeville Minor Baseball

Sincerley,

Ryan Hancock

Former Vice President of House League
Orangeville & Headwaters Minor Baseball Association
