The 8U Bengals played in stratford on fathers day weekend going 3-0 in the round robin blasting 71 runs for in 3 games. Setting them on top of their division. Placing third in seeding and setting up a quarter Final vs Guelph. The Bengals kept the game close and found themselves down by 2 in the home half. Logan wells stepped to the plate and belted a huge 2 run blast to left center. A home run blast to tie the game, setting the stage for Max Nixon and Luc Turgeon to go back to back double and single to walk off the Guelph Royals.
Heading into the Semi Final against the undefeated Woodstock Wranglers, the Bengals gave it all they had, leading after 3 innings but seemed to run out of gas falling short of the final!  great weekend again by these Ball players. Happy fathers Day!
